Quick start with the bookmarklet

Scan any website with one click — install the bookmarklet and start straight from your browser.

Add it directly

Drag this button into your bookmarks bar:

turbometrics Scan

Clicking the button does not start a scan — it is only meant for dragging.

With the turbometrics bookmarklet you can scan any website with a single click — straight from your browser, without copying and pasting the URL.

Installation

The easiest way: drag the "turbometrics Scan" button at the end of this page straight into your bookmarks bar — done.

If drag and drop does not work, here is the manual alternative:

Chrome / Edge

  1. Right-click the bookmarks bar → "Add page" or "Add bookmark"
  2. Name: turbometrics Scan
  3. URL: copy and paste the bookmarklet code (see below)
  4. Save

Firefox

  1. Right-click the bookmarks bar → "Add bookmark"
  2. Name: turbometrics Scan
  3. Address: paste the bookmarklet code
  4. Save

Safari

  1. Save any page as a bookmark
  2. Edit the bookmark
  3. Replace the URL with the bookmarklet code

Usage

  1. Open any website in your browser
  2. Click "turbometrics Scan" in the bookmarks bar
  3. turbometrics opens with the current URL already filled in
  4. Click "Check now" — done

Bookmarklet code

Copy this code and paste it as the URL of a new bookmark:

javascript:void(window.open('https://turbometrics.io/?url='+encodeURIComponent(window.location.href)))

Notes

  • The bookmarklet works on every page you have open in your browser — whether it is WordPress, a shop, a landing page or a staging system.
  • If you are logged in, the scan is assigned to your account directly and shows up in your history view.
  • For pages you check often it is also worth setting up a scheduled scan that runs automatically at regular intervals.
